Described by Brielle Magazine as “The Baby-Faced Assassin of Comedy,” Chris Gaskin is one of Canada’s fastest rising comedic voices. With a unique blend of sharp observational humor and personal storytelling, he captivates audiences by contrasting his youthful appearance with a biting, intelligent wit. His style has been called brutally honest, clever, and undeniably hysterical.
Chris grew up in a small town as the runt of the litter, born with a congenital heart defect that kept him on the sidelines and made him an acute observer of the world around him. These early experiences shaped his point of view and created a rich foundation of material. After moving to Vancouver, British Columbia, he took the stage for the first time at the Kino Café. That first three-minute set was all it took to hook him, and he quickly became a regular in the local scene.

Since then, Chris has built an impressive resume. He was a national finalist in the comedy competition Stand Up & Bite Me on Bite TV, and has been featured on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. He went on to win the Champion of Champions and Rise of the Next Comic competitions, showcasing his ability to stand out even in the most competitive environments.
His debut comedy album, Lambda Male, was praised for its sharp writing and authentic delivery. He followed it with a second release, Working With The Negatives, a deeply personal and hilarious hour that solidified his reputation as a comic who isn’t afraid to tackle dark or uncomfortable topics with honesty and style

Chris has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Emo Philips, Godfrey, and T.J. Miller. Each performance further proves that he is not just a rising star but a comic with staying power.
Tracey MacDonald, winner of Star Search, called him “a star.” Audiences across North America are quickly coming to the same conclusion. Whether in a club, theatre, or on screen, Chris Gaskin is a comedy force you won’t soon forget.
