Want to know what the comedy experience of the year in Prince George will be? Look no further than Chris Gaskin: Old and New, two completely different shows headlined by one of Canada’s best comedians. How is he one of Canada’s best comedians you ask? He’s been featured on the likes of Just For Laughs, SiriusXM, and CBC, and has worked with brands like BMW, Porsche, and Yuk Yuk’s. As if that isn’t enough, four local feature acts have been hand chosen as the best comedians Prince George has to offer. Like a small comedy festival, this will be an event you won’t want to miss.
Night 1

Past Favourites
Friday, May 1st
With special guests:

Mike McGuire

Sara Jones
The house lights dim and the stage lights shine as Chris delves into his comedic past. Over fifteen years of material to choose from, and Chris will choose only the best. Past Favourites is a show built around Chris’ favourite jokes from “Lambda Male” and “Working With The Negatives.”
Featured Guest Acts:
Mike McGuire
Mike has performed on CBC’s The Debaters, Rumours Comedy, Yuk-Yuks and all over Western Canada and Mexico. His life’s journey has been a fairly smooth road. But every so often a rock will trip him up. In his typically upbeat fashion, he picks up that rock and polishes it into a gem of a story. His jokes are all part of his life experiences, some layered, some insightful and some plain old silly. Laugh with him, or at him, either is ok with him.
Sara Jones
A long time fan of stand-up comedy, Sara Jones took the plunge into performing with no going back. In just a very short time she has been featured in the documentary “Other Voices,” chronicling Prince George’s BIPOC stand-up comedy community. Described by Chris Gaskin as, “Prince George’s hidden comedy gem,” Sara Jones is a star in the making.
Night 2

The New Act
Saturday, May 2nd
With special guests:

Brian Majore

Kylie Lewis Holt
It’s been 6 years since Chris has recorded any of his latest material. Touring it across western Canada, and building his latest hour to rave reviews, you get to see The New Act in its’ best form. Raw, unapologetic, and just downright funny, you’ll be laughing from beginning to end.
Featured Guest Acts:
Brian Majore
A comedy veteran with over two decades of experience, Brian Majore is one of Prince George’s unsung heroes. Brian has been a finalist in Yuk Yuk’s Great Canadian Laugh Off, has worked with the likes of Just For Laughs, SiriusXM, CBC, and APTN. He has also created two documentaries “Other Voices,” and the upcoming series, “20 Minutes and a Car.”
Kylie Lewis Holt
Kylie Lewis Holt is a staple of the northern BC comedy community. A winner of multiple comedy competitions, including “Prince George’s Funniest Comedian with a Day Job” and “Kelowna’s Comedy Bloodsport” Kylie has proved herself a force not to be reckoned with. Described by Chris Gaskin as, “Gregarious, in your face, and just plain hilarious,” the sky is the limit for Kylie.
